How can I convince my friends that I am punk?

Question: I keep on telling my friends that i'm punk, but there all like, "your not punk, blah blah blah". It's really pissing me off. They say because i dont dress punk, i'm not. My school wears uniform so how can I dress punk. Any way, how can I convince them that im punk? (besides beating the crap out of them)

Answer: well since you are so worried about appearing punk to your friends I am going to go ahead and guess that your friends are right and agree with them. Being punk isn't about how you dress or who you hang out with, it is about the music. And not this pop bullshit that is trying to call itself punk ... go by some Dead Kennedys and Ramones albumns, get aquanted to the music and tell you friends to go f*ck themselves ... now that is punk rock!
