To parents with tall but skinny children what brand of clothes have you found work best?

Question: My daughter is 13 months and is as tall as the average two year old. She is also on the petite side and we have the hardest time with clothes. She fits a 6-12 but they are way to short they come up to her knee and if it is a dress or skirt it is like a mini. For the right length we need to get 18-24 or 2T but the pants are way to big and the dresses fall off of her. We have the darndest time getting clothes for her is there a brand the runs small but long?

Answer: I buy pants and skirts from the GAP and children's place because they have the adjustable waist! I love it! Plus the GAP carries slim & petite items! My daughter is tiny but she also needs the length and a belt doesn't help! So I can buy her normal size as long as it has the adustable waist! You can sometime find this at Old Navy also! Very reasonable at CP and Old Navy!
